“ 50's style diner with old school kids riding machines out front. Stopped in for a bite to eat before the Hershey Bears game last night. Our waiter was awesome cracking jokes with my daughter and you can tell he enjoys working here. They can make any soda into a float. Plenty of desserts on display that looked delicious. My daughter got a short stack of chocolate chip pancakes with fresh strawberries. She said her meal was fantastic. I got the chicken croquettes with mashed potatoes and gravy. The croquettes were very dry which was disappointing and the mashed potatoes didn't have much flavor. Everything but my meal was worth 5 stars. Next time maybe I'll go with a burger. ”

“ Super cute diner with an extensive menu! I have always loved this place, but I brought my 5 year old son for the first time and he also loved it. It's clean and bright with cool 50's-inspired details. I was happy to see they still had clam strips on the menu. We got those as a starter and they were cooked nicely! My son ordered a BLT and he said it was very tasty. I ordered a patty melt and it was super hot and super delicious! Good quality burger meat and the onions were cooked to a nice brown color. Our server was very good and kept my son's lemonade filled. Great place for food as the prices are still decent. ”

“ I eat here a few years ago when I was a nanny. I thought it was good but being local it never comes to mind when thinking about places to eat. A few weeks ago I met a few of my husband's friends who visited the Soda Jerk when they were in high school (15ish years ago) and they got matching TShirts. They went on and on about how special this place was to them. My husband and I knew that we had to surprise them with new T-shirts. To our surprise they are still selling hot pink t-shirts like my husband's friend remembered owning! They staff was helpful and excited to hear about this story! ”

This was such a delight on a Sunday morning after a busy weekend to just melt into a booth and get some good grub and enjoy being transported back in time. Our waitress was an absolute sweetheart, shout out to Ari, she balanced the multitude of tables so well and was such a honey. The food was absolutely slammin. The scrapple? Exactly how my grandma makes hers. The hash? Rich but not greasy. The eggs? Eggsactly (hehehe) how we ordered them. And the coffee wasn't gross diner coffee. If you was a cozy homey bustling dinner with a good staff that feels like you're stepping back in time and back into your grandmas kitchen. The soda jerk is exactly what you're looking for. It's busy. But it's for a good reason. ”

“ Solid spot- waited a little for a table of 6 and 2 babies on an early Sunday morning around 10am. Service was excellent and we enjoyed the food. Croissant French toast was good and so were the pancakes. People also enjoyed Benedict and Breakfast quesadilla. Would absolutely recommend if you're in the area, classic diner vibes! ”
